Sliced-to-Order
GrainFreeze's defining trait, the slicer sampler, is a new way to approach granular synthesis. Your MIDI keys now map to locations in the audio file, giving you an entirely different way of granulating a sample. With automatic transient and beat slicing modes, plus the ability to edit, remove, and slide your slices anywhere you like, this plugin makes cutting out your sound a breeze.
Granular synth = Granular control
Each slice of your sample can have different settings which can be changed to make each key you hit have its own unique texture. This opens up infinite possibilities for combining and changing sounds, from little tweaks or wild changes in timbre. But don't worry! If you don't feel like setting each slice individually, there's always the option to switch the synth into a global mode, which will keep the same settings for each slice.
Slidey Glidey
Part of Grainfreeze's unique sound comes from its ability to glide smoothly between slices in your sample. Not only does the location of the grain glide through your sample with ease, but it also makes a smooth transition between each slice's individual settings, giving you a morphing sound unlike any other.
